Wi-Fi Setup

Wi-Fi is disabled by default. To enable Wi-Fi, follow the below steps on the phone:

  1. Press Menu softkey
  2. Navigate to Settings and then select Basic Settings
  3. Navigate to Wi-fi
  4. Press Switch softkey when Wi-Fi item is highlighted
  5. Ensure that Wi-Fi state is now ON
  6. Press Save softkey to enable Wi-Fi

After Wi-Fi is enabled, it will automatically scan for available wireless networks. Found networks will be displayed under Wi-Fi menu (Menu → Settings → Basic Settings → Wi-Fi).

  1. Select ## Available Network(s) item (## denote the number of available networks found)
  2. From the list of available networks, navigate to the desired network and select Connect
  3. Password will be asked to connect to the wireless network, if phone is connecting for the first time. Enter password for the network using the Numpad
  4. Phone will connect to the selected wireless network

On landing screen, a Wi-Fi icon will be displayed to indicate Wi-Fi status. (If Wi-Fi is enabled but not connected to a wireless network, the icon will show a cross sign).
